Privacy

This page explains what information the RoofGlance website and the instant roof estimate tool collect, and how it is used.

Information you give us

When you use the estimate tool, you enter a property address. If you ask for a quote or an inspection, you also give your name, phone number, and email address. You may add a note. The roofing company that runs the tool, such as Brandon Roofing, receives this information and uses it to contact you about your roof.

When a roofing company asks for access on the RoofGlance home page, we receive the name, company, email address, and any phone number, website, or message that the person enters.

Information collected automatically

  • Ad and page details, such as the web address you came from and the tags on an ad link (for example UTM tags and the Google Ads click ID). These show which ad brought a visit.
  • A scrambled form of your IP address. It is used to limit how many requests one visitor can make. The tool does not store the plain address in its database.
  • Standard web server records kept by our hosting provider.

Services that help run the tool

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and the database, and runs Turnstile to block automated traffic.
  • Google provides address search, maps, and aerial roof data. Google Tag Manager and Google Ads may measure visits and conversions when they are turned on for a page.
  • Resend may send email notices about new requests.

These services have their own privacy policies.

Calls and texts

If you check the consent box when you send your details, the roofing company may call, text, or email you about your roofing project. The exact wording is shown next to the box. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
